- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional, and Adobe Connect
- Familiarity with Campus Vue, the Virtual Campus, and the MyCampus portals
- High degree of proficiency with Captivate, Storyline, Camtasia, and other instructional design software platforms
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Ability to meet objectives as an Individual Contributor as well as actively engage as a contributing member of a high-functioning team to meet organizational goals
- Highly-developed understanding of fundamental business concepts
- Excellent ability to translate strategy into actionable items and to link activity to business results
- Familiarity with common LMS platforms
Education and Experience: Minimum
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5 years’ experience of teaching at the college post- secondary level, preferably in online and/or blended
- Knowledge of the principles, techniques and methods of instruction; use of visual aids, learning processes
- Fundamental understanding of departmental policies and processes within the University.
- Experience in effective communication with faculty and other key stakeholders within the university
- High degree of professionalism and experience
Education and Experience: Preferred
- Master’s degree from a Council for Higher Education (CHEA) accredited institution preferred. (Background in education, instructional design or instructional technology strongly preferred.)
- Proven success and experience in training development and training delivery/facilitation/public speaking preferred
- Knowledge of instructional design software
