Security Manager Real Estate - Perdoceo Education Corporation
The Security Manager Real Estate will lead a national team of contracted security professionals, manage schedules, ensure education and adherence of corporate security policies and procedures.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Aggregate and maintain incident report database
- Conduct investigations into security incidents, breaches and provide recommendations for corrective action to mitigate future risks
- Present Annual incident reports for Regulatory and as requested
- Build and recommend Annual budgets comprising of staffing and proactive security device/system testing and improvements (both M&R and CAPEX).
- Manage reactive M&R on physical security devices with contractors (i.e. Esscoe, electricians, etc.) within company’ financial policies and procedures (budgets)
- Project manage larger security and safety projects or policy initiatives
- Manage annual drills and municipal inspections/permitting of fire, life, safety devices
- Build and maintain relationships with local (and as needed) Federal law enforcement
- File police reports on behalf of Legal, IT and Real Estate for unreturned assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Executive, HR, Legal, IT Site Ops, Facilities, Risk and IT-Infrastructure to ensure that security policies and procedures are integrated with other functional areas
Education and Experience: Minimum
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in corporate security management and directly managing/staffing guard performance, schedule and customer billing
- Education: Minimum-Bachelor’ Degree
- Location: Schaumburg, IL (this is a non-WFH position and will continue to report to 1750 E Golf Rd Schaumburg, IL)
- Certification: CPP: Certified Protection Professional (or similar)
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, KeyScan, Exacvision, Peoplesoft, payment systems
