General Summary
This position supports the enterprise as part of the Data Analysis and Reporting Team (DART). DART is responsible for centralized efforts servicing external and internal reporting requirements. This centralized service provides accurate analysis and reporting of academic, outcomes, and student data for external regulators, PEC leadership and its business units.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Data Reporting
- Field Regulatory Operations, Student Aid Solutions or University projects as determined necessary for enterprise or field usage
- Assist with the creation or maintenance of internal tools or SQL extracts that support various reporting needs (regulatory reporting, student disclosures, operations, etc…)
- Support all centralized reporting functions such as HLC, IPEDS, NC-SARA, Colorado, Arizona, Georgia, THECB, AACN/CCNE, ACBSP, AAQEP, PMI, USNWR, and/or, the quality assurance of these reporting functions
- Format academic and student extracted data into regulated configurations when appropriate
Project Management
- Achieve established timeframes and criteria for internal and third-party data collection, analysis, and reporting to regulators
- Collaborate with IT on the technical requirements for developing or enhancing CampusVue/Insight reports or data extracts used for multiple regulator or external agency needs
- Create supportive summary spreadsheets as new or revised data is externally provided to assist the business with next steps when applicable to the overall process
- Collaborate with Regulatory Operations or project leadership to ensure data collection definitions and processes meet analysis requirements
- Engage in day-to-day planning and decision making to meet both individual and team goals
- Support and train constituencies with timeline, reporting or standard assessment operations as needed
Review / Data Governance / Audit
- Regularly audit team deliverables prior to reporting
- Review organizational source data and reporting methods for accuracy and completion
- Navigate acquired student information systems and accurately create, update, and follow detailed standard operating procedures and processes
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise via self-investigation and process comprehension
- Devise enhancements to increase efficiency of current processes
- Support expansion of academic and student data compilation to support continuous improvement and effectiveness
Administration
- Maintain DART operated timeline trackers with up-to-date statuses and relevant information
- Maintain DART operated SharePoint sites with up-to-date documentation
- Maintain internal and externally regulated formatting requirements for supporting documentation
- Maintain student outcome disclosures and all supporting data detail

- Ability to apply concepts and ideas without having direct control or responsibility in all instances
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Minimum
- Bachelor's degree
- At least three years of experience working with higher education academic data, processes and student information system functionality
Education and Experience: Preferred
- Experience collecting data to satisfy external requirements for regulators of higher education
- HLC, IPEDS, state/programmatic regulator working knowledge (e.g. Arizona, Georgia, CCNE, ACBSP, AAQEP) or other data reporting experience
- Career services/employment data proficiency
- Audit experience
- SQL working knowledge or experience
