Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies
- Proficiency using the following programs is required:
- Learning management systems including Brightspace and Canvas
- eLearning authoring tools including Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia
- Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
- Accessibility tools to create audio descriptions, video captions, and material compatible with screen readers like JAWS or NVDA
- Online collaboration tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Experience with educational data analytics tools, either integrated within LMS or standalone platforms like Tableau, for analyzing student performance and engagement metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
Education and Experience: Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Digital Media, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Information Systems, Instructional Design, or a related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)
- At least three years of higher education experience.
Education and Experience: Preferred
- Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Digital Media, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Information Systems, Instructional Design, or a related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) preferred
