Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies

  • Proficiency using the following programs is required:
    • Learning management systems including Brightspace and Canvas
    • eLearning authoring tools including Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia
    • Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
    • Accessibility tools to create audio descriptions, video captions, and material compatible with screen readers like JAWS or NVDA
    • Online collaboration tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with educational data analytics tools, either integrated within LMS or standalone platforms like Tableau, for analyzing student performance and engagement metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

Education and Experience:  Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Digital Media, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Information Systems, Instructional Design, or a related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)
  • At least three years of higher education experience.

Education and Experience:  Preferred

  • Master’s degree  in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Digital Media, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Information Systems, Instructional Design, or a related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) preferred
