Education and Experience (minimum):

  • Doctorate/terminal degree in Nursing, DNP or a related field.
  • Registered Nurse with current unencumbered license in state of residence
  • Extensive experience with CCNE and AACN Accreditation and Standards
  • Minimum 5 years college/university senior academic leadership experience
  • Minimum 5 years college/university teaching experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in professional field
  • Experience managing faculty in an online environment

  • Ability to ensure academic rigor and fairness

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to formulate feasible and logical solutions
  • Competent in the collection, analysis, interpretation, reporting, and use of data
  • Competent in handling a diversity of details in order to make informed and responsive decisions on matters that impact the academic programs of the department.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with ability to quickly learn new technologies and software
