Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience, education, and training in current practices of the subject area they are teaching: data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, etc.
- Associates degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other STEM degree from an accredited college or university OR Certification of Completion from a data science bootcamp preferred
- Able to work Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm PST
- Desire to teach, develop and manage
- Leadership - able to show leadership
- Enthusiasm - exhibits passion and excitement over work. Has a can-do attitude
- Calm under pressure - maintains stable performance even when under heavy pressure or stress
- Information processing skills - demonstrates ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information
- Communication - can break down complex concepts in a simple, easy to understand manner
- Humble - respectful of everyone and their neuro-diversity
- Certified to teach each stack by Coding Dojo, via completing the Black Belt assessments or completing equivalent code challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with minimal guidance and direction, pure problem solver
- Ability to work alone and/or in teams
