Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in meeting deadlines and urgency in responding to questions/requests.
- Strong interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills.
- Proficiency in working effectively, cooperatively, and flexibly in a team environment.
- Proficiency with standard office and mobile applications (i.e., word processing, presentations, e-mail, calendaring, teleconferencing, text messaging, personal computers, and smart phones/tablets).
Required Experience
- A terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution in Computer Science is required (minimum of 18 semester/27 quarter graduate hours)
- Minimum of 5 years of Computer Science professional/work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in the discipline.
Education and Experience: Preferred
- Experience teaching in a higher education setting.
- Teaching non- traditional students (e.g., working adults)
- Teaching with an online learning management system
- Application of rubrics to feedback and grading
- Minimum of 18 semester/27 quarter graduate hours 18 semester hours in Big Data Analytics
*CTU generally compensates its Doctoral Studies Adjunct Faculty within a range of $1,000-$5,0000 per course, depending on various factors including but not limited to: class size and course assigned.
