Required Experience

2+ recent years in field in positions such as but not limited to Music Engineer, Music Producer, Sound Designer, Live Sound Engineer, or Audio Designer

Candidate must have obtained at least a conferred

Master’s Degree in field of Audio Production* or master’s degree and 18 hours of graduate coursework in Audio Production* from an institution regionally accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent, additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply to instruct undergraduate courses

*Covers a broad range of applicable majors/specializations pertaining to the “Audio” industry. Examples are but not limited to: Sound Design, Music Production, Sound Production, Electronic Music, Audio Arts, Media Production, Media Creation, Recording Arts, Recording, Recording Technology, and Film and Audio.

Possesses experience with Pro-Tools and Analog consoles

What We Offer*
AIU generally compensates its Adjunct Faculty on a per quarter credit hour rate that takes into consideration a variety of factors, including campus (Atlanta/Houston/Online) and degree level (undergraduate and graduate); the base rate for an Adjunct Faculty can range between $266.67 and $445.00 per credit hour.
