Associate Site Operations Technician - Perdoceo Education Corporation

Hands on IT Desktop Technician role responsible for Tier 2 - hardware and software support of desktop PCs, laptops, and peripherals in a corporate office and/or ground school campus setting. This person will be part of a team of technicians responsible for support of several locations. This role will take direction from the IT Manager or Supervisor and/or IT Lead Technician.

Ability to logically troubleshoot common desktop support issues and document both problems and solutions in call tracking/problem management system.

Prioritize and schedule support activities and serve as primary escalation point for business management.

Act as liaison to sites for other IT teams.

Utilize IT Management tools to manage end points and track incidents, problems, changes and requests.

Participate in site related technical projects as required.

Track and maintain inventory of all related equipment.

Identify opportunities to reduce IT expenses and improve customer service.

Cover scheduled evening and weekend shifts

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Periodic travel to assist schools local to the area as needed and/or travel to remote locations as deemed necessary.

Help provide training and direction to IT Work Studies

Assist in documenting current and future process procedures

Education and Experience: Minimum

Two year college degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience required

1 year IT Desktop support experience
Education and Experience: Preferred

Bachelor Degree in a Technology related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)
