• Knowledge of online delivery methods and effective communication in both traditional and online educational forums is essential.

• Knowledge of the student life cycle and other university departments such as Admissions, Financial Aid,  Student Services, Academics, and Career Services

• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation skills

• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships

• Proficient in use of MS Word, MS Excel and ability to analyze data

• Organizational and time management skills

• Ability to drive results and meet  team/department goals

Education and Experience:  Minimum

• Bachelor’s Degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)

• 5 + years of experience in an education related or service related role

• 3 + year of management experience

Education and Experience:  Preferred

• Master’s Preferred from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)

• 5 + years of experience with leading student advising in a fast paced, post-secondary education environment.

• 3 + years of experience leading a team
