Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies
  • Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher 
  • Knowledge of ADDIE framework, best practices and technologies, including ISD concepts
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to manage conflict, persuade others, and coach effectively
  • Strong collaboration and teaming skills
  • Strong organizational, administrative, record keeping & time management skills
  • Financial Aid Industry Knowledge (Preferred)
  • Proficient with Captivate and/or Articulate  (Preferred)

 

Education and Experience:  Minimum
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (i.e. business) from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • 5+ years of Financial Aid Advising and/or Processing experience OR
    • 3+ years in a training and development role supporting a line of business
    • 2+ years of instructional design experience
    • 2+ years of designing blended learning solutions
    • 2+ years of classroom facilitation experience
 
Education and Experience:  Preferred
  • 3+ years of e-learning development experience, using either Captivate or Articulate
  • Experience using virtual classroom technologies (i.e. Webex, Go-to-Webinar, etc.)
  • Gamification experience
  • Instructional Design and/or e-Learning Certification
