General Summary

The EAC is looking for a Sales and Marketing Associate who will have a broad range of sales and marketing responsibilities with the goal of providing support to management, business development, client engagement, and EAC operations by helping to increase the EAC’s overall effectiveness, efficiency, and capability to deliver on commitments to customers and CTU.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct market, customer, and contact research for accounts in specific customer segments, as well as managing related email campaigns to verify research.
  • Responsible for identifying potential sales opportunities within specific customer segments, tracking related activity in Salesforce, and handing off identified opportunities to the Customer Engagement Specialists or Business Development Consultants for further discovery and outside pursuit.
  • Identify at-risk customers within assigned customer segments.
  • Provide inside key account customer support, which may include preparing reports, creating presentations, tracking information in Salesforce, and general correspondence.
  • Assist to develop and execute ongoing customer communication, including email campaigns and social media campaigns.
  • Review approved customer communication plans in Salesforce to assist planning for scheduled execution.
  • Support Sales Operations with Salesforce initiatives and daily reporting support.
  • Assist Sales Operations to prepare for academic session review presentations
  • Prepare customer marketing materials with strict attention to detail
  • Provide client engagement team with inside event support, including shipment of materials, material inventory management, material stock ordering, and related budgeting.
  • Provide support with special projects.
  • Meeting planning support for customer meetings and internal meetings.
  • Monitor and report on competitors’ marketing activities
  • Conduct market research to identify new EAC opportunities

Other Duties as Assigned or Requested

  • Attend events
  • Overnight travel may be required

 Education and Experience: Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or related field
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic
  • Able to work independently and manage time appropriately

Preferred

  • Experience in higher education business-to-business function
  • Experience working with Fortune 1000
  • Sales aptitude
  • Understanding of university operations including student marketing, recruiting, and enrollment

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
