Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies

  • Excellent customer service focus

  • Knowledge of various types of hardware and software

  • Basic understanding of ITIL Framework

  • Ability to learn and take direction from peers

  • Strong working knowledge of desktop systems

  • Knowledge and  understanding of server, networking, and Microsoft Active Directory

  • Excellent  troubleshooting capabilities

  • Working knowledge of Windows Servers

  • Working knowledge of Networking Technologies

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

  • Ability to manage incident and req. queues; identify opportunities to improve/enhance support activities

  • Ability to manage workload and work independently

  • Travel to remote locations as deemed necessary

  • Develop process and support documentation

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Education and Experience:  Minimum

  • Four year college degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years site support experience

Education and Experience:  Preferred

  • Bachelor’s  Degree in a Technology related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)  

  • 5+ years IT experience
