Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies
  • Solid organizational, project management skills, team management and leadership skills set; Ability to manage multiple projects a must
  • Experience managing teams that are not co-located
  • Skill with digital learning and educational technology

  • Skills to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships
  • Organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills

Education and Experience:  Minimum

  • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in higher education, organizational leadership, educational administration or related field
  • Teaching experience at the college level, with experience teaching online required.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in academic administration which includes:
    • Training, development and evaluation of college-level instructors, in face to face and online learning environments, and delivery methods
    • Principles, techniques, and methods of instruction; learning theory, processes, and assessment; curriculum/course development
    • A solid background in working collaboratively with academic leadership
    • Experience with non-traditional students

Education and Experience:  Preferred

  • Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in higher education, organizational leadership, educational administration or related field
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in academic administration.
